Early-bird registration ends tomorrow for the 20th annual FEEFHS Eastern European Research Workshop being held 6-10 August at the Plaza Hotel in Salt Lake City. Daniel Schlyter will be teaching the Kingdom of Hungary track, covering language, handwriting, maps, gazetteers, record sources, and more. The Kingdom of Hungary, as we are all aware includes modern-day Hungary, Slovakia, and parts of Ukraine (Carpathian Ruthenia), Romania (Transylvania), Serbia (Vojvodina), Austria (Burgenland), the southern tip of Poland, and most of Croatia. Research Essentials track covers information applicable to all of Eastern European research.
