A group of SK citizens have made it their task to document WW One gravesites
in Eastern Slovakia. They are locating them renovating and updating them
with fences, cleaning, crosses and the like. They are taking particular
interest in the war monuments located around the country too. To that end,
they are transcribing names and villages as found on these monuments and
posting them online.

I was surprised at how many men died so close to home. There are also
communal graves of unknown soldiers, some very large grave sites of unknown
