Affordable Housing Report
The Non-Profit Housing Association of Northern California (NPH) is a

housing development sponsors in Northern California in support of the
preservation, development, and quality management of affordable housing
NPH is in the process of researching and writing a report on the state
affordable housing in the Bay Area. This report is a follow up to
Francisco Bay Area Housing Crisis Report Card published in 2002 that
evaluated the housing elements of the 40 largest and fastest-growing
jurisdictions in the Bay Area. This report will once again look at
jurisdictions and evaluate their progress on housing elements. The
will also address affordable housing policy and advocacy strategies at
county level such as housing trust funds, inclusionary housing, jobs-housing
linkage fees and so forth.
The intern will provide assistance in the areas of research, writing and
program support. NPH is seeking an intern that has some knowledge
affordable housing; excellent research and writing skills. The internship
start date is flexible, but the position is expected to be full-time during
the summer (June-August). A reasonable stipend will be provided.
