MIG's Berkeley office is seeking a multi-talented associate-level urban
planner. The selected candidate will work with a team of planners and
designers to produce reports, planning documents, and graphic materials
both the public and private sector.
The ideal candidate will have a masters or bachelors degree in urban, city
or land use planning, and one to three years of work experience in the
discipline. Must have strong writing skills, work as an enthusiastic team
member, and have the ability to speak in front of groups. Must have interest
in a range of projects, such as long-range land use plans, mixed-use
developments, downtown plans, community design projects, environmental
sustainability and campus plans. Must have excellent computer skills
including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Quark, Illustrator, and Photoshop
(AutoCAD and GIS a plus). Design skills are also a plus.
