Get ready for my monthly second Friday dinner party, on Friday, Nov. 11 at Shangri-La Vegetarian. Shangri-La is one of the oldest and most revered vegan places in SF and includes a variegated variety of vegan Chinese cuisine.
That's Friday, November 11! I'm now accepting reservations for this event.
Of course you'll enjoy a fun dinner, meet new friends, and catch up on gossip with old friends. Last month's presentation and round table discussion (on energy efficiency) was super great; I don't have a specific topic this month (suggestions gladly accepted; perhaps we'll discuss cats) but will have two topics for December's dinner!
Space Is Limited! Please be sure to RSVP to me No Later Than Thursday, Nov. 10 if you want to go.
When you RSVP, please include
(a) whether you want to order your own food or share with the group and
(b) an accurate estimate of the probability that you'll in fact be there.
Shangri-la Vegetarian, 2026 Irving Street (at 21st); We'll gather at 6:30pm and eat at 7pm. We will simply order from the menu. Family Style. Cost will be split among the participants -- cost should be about $12-$14 each.
The best way to get there is by public transport, Take the N (Judah) muni train outbound and hop off at 20th Ave. or thereabouts. then just stroll a block north to Irving. By BART just get off at Civic Center, go up a level to muni and catch the aforementioned N train. Email me for Caltrain directions or specifics from other parts of town.
Looking forward to seeing y'all.
