Celebrate World Vegetarian Day, this Wed. evening, Oct. 3 at 6 pm, at the Opera Plaza Community Room, 601 Van Ness, San Francisco, with a fabulous celebration vegan dinner and a panorama of vegetarianism in America, from its beginnings down to the present. Listen via video to key historians of the vegetarian movement, such as Rynne Berry, Adam Shprintzen and more, in this celebration of American Vegetarianism. Discover the roots of the movement, important milestones and figures, and where the movement stands today. And review the benefits of being vegetarian, in this fascinating collage of vegetarianism in America.
