I've been using their filter for more than 15 years, and bought it at
Rainbow. For people living in apartments, the changing pipe
construction, etc. is NOT the way to go. With Wholy Water you change
the solid carbon water filter in the container, which attaches to the
faucet, not the pipes. Make sure that whatever company you choose,
that they use a solid carbon filter. Not all companies do.
Wholy Water has interesting local links, including the ecology center
here in Berkeley.

I've been trying to find a good 'affordable' water filter that removes most things like chlorine, chloramine, flouride, etc. I'm looking for shower filters and tap filters or an overall house filter, but I'm not sure which ones actually are good. There's tons of info out there but not sure which ones to trust and was wondering if anyone had any experience or recommended any?
Thanks so much!
P.S. Also, thanks a million for the foraging replies! :)
