Until you find something close to Marin, here's something in Santa Cruz
They also teach Medicinal plants.
I find it so useful, that I took the class twice. If you are coming from
far away, ask them where's a good place to stay.
Discounts for groups classes are available, but I was unsuccessful in
getting other people to join me on this great event.
I've learned over several hundred edible wild plants at their classes. It
used to be 2 days and I took it twice. Now for the convenience of the
students it's only one day. You can make it into a mini-vacation.
I highly recommend everyone to take the class. You won't regret it

Subject: [SFLivingFoods] Wild Edible Plants
I am interested in learning more about local wild edible plants (that you
can of course eat
raw) preferably in the Marin area, but am willing to learn anywhere in the
bay area. Does
anyone know of any hikes like this, or be interested in forming a study
