I was eating dinner there on a Tuesday night in Sept 2004. My friends and I were the
ONLY customer up in the beehive dining area from 5-6:30pm. The yoga class starting at
6pm had NO customer. The yoga teacher left after waiting 30 minutes after NO STUDENT
show up for the class.
In terms of take out, there were a few ladies getting take outs, but not a long McDonalds
type of line.
I thought the prices for organic food was very reasonable. I really enjoyed the soup.
The Urban Forage restaurants uses around a total of 5 cases of Thai coconuts a day. I was
suprised, they don't spend the time to take out the coconut meat. I was told, the meat
was used occassionally if a recipe calls for it.
I am sorry Urban Forage closed.
As I keep saying to people, try to keep your overhead costs down. and KISS,-KEEP IT
I hope Urban Forage owners in good luck in future projects
