9 times out of 10 it's because they don't have strong self worth,
making people feel beneath them is the only way to make them think
they are of self worth.
I gave up on the idea of people saying or spelling my mundane name let
alone my SCA name right. I just repeat it until they get it right.
With the grappy, snarky broomstick jockeys I keep repeating it until
they feel stupid cuz THEY can't get it right. No, not kind, but I've
always refused to be a Rebecca, it has never been my name, nor will it
ever be. So long as you attempt to say it right, it's all good,
butcher my name on purpose..... I'll repeat it until you get it right.
