Out of curiosity, in case anyone here might know the answer, would
circlets of woven or braided wire be acceptable and period? I
use 'period' generally, meaning at any time in the history we recreate.
I make crocheted wire jewelry and every once in a while this thought
runs through my mind, I just haven't thought of it while checking the
discussion lists until now.
