You weren't kidding about the cut and paste. And the dresses she is passing
off as period, shows that she has not done a lot of research or asked
someone who has. The Marian dress which is based on "Bloody Mary"
portraits, she has the partlet and the bodice as one in the same. The
Elizabethans are not much better. If these dresses are her work, she needs
to have a full picture of the dress and if it is on a model and not a
manikin she needs to include the head, preferably with one of the headgear
she is offering to show how well it looks with the gown.
I will say it is nice that she is selling linen chemises instead of
Her Kirtle/Simple Gown, the cut and paste is bad and I think I have seen
this poise and dress from somewhere on line before. The sketch does not
match the green dress as the green dress has princess seams.
The Accolade is not IMO a bliaut.
This isn't to bad of a gown though it looks familiar to a dress diary I came
across once upon a time. Maybe the diary person and the seamstress are the
The Viking Apron Gowns models head is kinda tiny for the body. If these
"models" body parts that she is using is from magazines and such, she really
needs to check out the copyright laws.
