the portrait you mention , at least does support the front closing bodice, ,..now are the 'tabs' at the bottom of the bodice a personal preference? and IF the bottom of the bodice is tapered or flat cut? or does this give to different periods?

Please do remember that this photo was taken at Pennsic.
It gets beastly hot and she may not have worn the entire outfit so
that she didn't fall over from heat stroke. Maybe someone should

Just from looking at the photo, my guess is that her clothing was
based on "Portrait of an Unknown Lady." She's at the Tate Gallery in
