I concur here. I have friends who want garb, but they cannot afford my
prices, so they make me dinner, help me pin, cut, iron, my dishes, etc,
anything that I would normally be doing if I wasn't working on their
clothing. It works out nicely (though I am very picky about my laundry and
dishes... allergies, I hate them), gets stuff, done, and they have
well-fitting garb for only the cost of the fabric and a little time out of
their lives. I actually had one friend stop complaining about my prices
when she saw all the work that was involved in making the pattern, doing
the layout, pinning, etc, as well as the sewing, fitting, and details (by
hand). After I was done with her outfit, she took me out to dinner, and a
movie, and didn't ask me for garb for a good two months, lol!
