11th Century Woman? I want to sew before Pennsic but am having
trouble find this!
"Sewing Central" lists it at their website (www.sewingcentral.com
click on patterns click on "Middle Ages" under the first grouping
"Middle Ages and Renaissance") but has a notation there that this
pattern is temporarily out of print. I expect that is why it's hard
to find, yes?
Have you considered or would you consider other pattern makers'
selections? There are a number of them out there, by now. Some are:
Rockinghorse Farm; Mill Farm; Kannik's Korner; Medieval Miscellanea
(known today as "Period Patterns," I believe); Reconstructing History
(they have a website of their own: www.reconstructinghistory.com);
Fleur de Lyse, to name a handful.
Back when I was first costuming in SCA (not long after the real Middle
Ages ended!) the options were pretty much Medieval Miscellanea which
at that time was far beyond my tiny income, or draft it yourself: even
the Big Three had just about nothing in the way of costume patterns
and usually what they did have was suitable for Hallowe'en---only.
I found your Costume Connection pattern through a Google search, using
the key words:
retail "Costume Connection" patterns
Best of luck to you!
