For Artemisia, already we have tassels for RR scoring...provided people
wear them. I wear mine all the time (in garb).
I proudly display my registered and passed arms in front of my tent high,
and hanging off the back both, and my arms identify me as an archer ( at
least I hope that's what people assume when they see it) ;)
"Argent, four broadarrows in cross points to center azure and on a chief
vert a longbow argent"
I designed and sewed pennons to fly from my tent, that incorporate my
device colors, and the top pennon has a longbow on it, and 4 blue arrows,
the same in my arms.
In January next year, a few of us local archers here in the Barony of Arn
Hold are launching a company of archers. I say next January, because we
are right now making sure the charter, by-laws, teaching ability and just
basic structure are in place, so that when we do announce ourselves, we
can hit the ground running, teaching, building....whatever.
One of the items we are currently trying to design is our company badge,
that incorporates all the aspects of what our company is about. I know we
will be wearing those badges very soon.
We also agonized over the name for the company, but have hit on a name
that pretty much describes what we're about:
"The Company of the Archer's Craft"
This name is then followed by "Purpure & Or", and this is to signify our
Baronial level area.(Baronial colors)
It is our fond hope that the premise behind this company will be well
recieved, stay tuned!
