If you live in the Hudson Valley, and are not yet a member of the
RLCNY-HV Meet Up Group, please join NOW via this link:
There is a Meet Up scheduled for this Wednesday in Nyack by the way.
Join to find out the details.
There are currently 39 members of the Meet Up Group, and 28 members
here, and more than 50 unique members of both of these groups. Once
we get to a minimum of 50 members in either one, we will get down to
I should mention that this is an "outreach group" open to all 'limited
government advocates', and that we are working to establish the Hudson
Valley as a 'model' for effective political action.
To my Hudson Valley LPNY friends:
1. I encourage you to post your meetings on this site so we have an
opportunity to get acquainted, and that you have the opportunity
to reach all of your members and "friends". In the case of the
Mid-Hudson LPNY, I know that you hold a social gathering earlier
in the evening, and a 'political session' sometime later. Please
specify which "sessions" are open, and if the political session is
open, please include an agenda if one is available.
2. Do you know which Hudson Valley Assembly District has the most
enrolled Libertarians? If you said the 101st AD, you either knew
the answer or guessed correctly. There are, by the way, 40
enrolled Libertarians here, and 38 in the adjacent 100th AD.
3. Do you know any libertarians who will be on the ballot in the
Hudson Valley in 2009? They will be there, and could certainly
use your support.
4. Did you know the staunch libertarian who ran for Assembly in 2008
that did not get your support? Probably not -- I didn't -- but I
am getting acquainted, and will encourage her to run again in
5. Normally I am not "allowed" to 'post' on any of the three LP
e-Groups serving the Hudson Valley a note such as this. Any
possibility that someone can forward this note to them,
and encourage their members to join together with us in
advancing freedom in the Hudson Valley?
