Posting messages to the RLC-Action group about how the GOP can win again because Democrats are bad is really stupid. Given that Rand Paul is also a candidate for U.S. Senate from Kentucky, the following statement from the article that was posted is an example of RINOs, neoconservatives, and other big-government Republicans attempting to co-opt the RLC, the Campaign for Liberty, and other libertarian Republican groups to gain support for the types of Republicans who should be defeated, not supported.
'In Kentucky, Secretary of State Trey Grayson is the early Republican favorite while Lt. Gov. Daniel Mongiardo and Attorney General Jack Conway already have the long knives out on the other side of the aisle."
Here's the truth about Grayson:
"Some Republicans in the state wonder whether the former Democrat Grayson voted for Bill Clinton in 1992 is a true conservative who is tough enough to withstand an intense statewide race that will garner national attention."
Obviously, many voters want to get rid of the current gang of criminals who are running the government. That gang happens to be Democrats now. The RLC should not suggest that replacing that gang with another gang of Republican criminals is what we want to do, however.
BTW, Republican Senator John Cornyn voted for the $700 billion bank bailout. What a joke!
