Hi Andrew, it's Catherine here. I live in Australia, and I would love to
join the group. My dad's side of the family all came from Peterhead and
it's very hard to get, I'm sure simple and easy things if you know where to
look. When you live overseas it's not easy or cheap to keep jumping on
planes, as a lot of places now unless you go there yourself or hire someone,
there's no way you will get the info you want.
I would gladly pay for postage, copying fee's etc and from this end there
are always Mormon films to hire and share info with.

Subject: [Peterhead] Setting up of discussion group in Peterhead
> Hi Listers
> I have only been doing genealogy for a short time. But have had a lot of
help from mailing lists.
> I live in Peterhead. I met a lady who is interested in setting up a
genealogy chat group in the area.
> This lady does not have a computer but is willing to do research for
people at the local library.
> Are there any others on the list who live locally and would be interested
in a local chat group if we can get one set up in the new year. We may be
able to also help others who are researching in the area but who do not live
