You have to dig a little to find it. :-)
If you look at the MagicItemsII.rtf for the Table: Common Ranged
Weapons it lists the base item cost for 50 arrows/bolts/sling bullets
as 350 gp. This is the masterwork item cost, which is a prerequisite
for adding a weapon bonus (+1 to +5). That works out to be 7gp per
unit. Take out the actual masterwork item cost (+300 gp/50) and you
have that the individual unit costs 1 gp, which is the same as list
price for 20 arrows/10 bolts/5 repeating bolts/100 sling bullets.
Very odd and inconsistent, but that's the way WotC did things.
