My name is David, and I'm a resident of Midlothian, VA.
My heritage would be that of "WASP". More specifically, a former episcopalian who finds himself more and more drawn to Western Orthodoxy. My interest in your group is to further my education through reading your various posts, etc. Pursuant to this end, I would inquire what you consider to be the definitions and examples of modernism, false ecumenism, & contemporary innovations. I suspect that I already know several (coming out of the chasm of heresy and apostasy that is the episcopal church, usa). None-the-less, I ask your indulgence of one who is (at times it seems), groping along.
Many thanks for your insights, time, and patience...

The process of sorting out comes along in it's own good time,
provided of course that you seek the path of the Lord and His mercy
patiently and persistently. My own journey from Lutheran [of the old
rather high church Scandinavian sort] took multiple years. After
twenty years in Eastern Orthodoxy [Greek and Russian], I am now
rejoicing in a Western Rite mission near my home. Keep reading...keep
praying! Ask God's holy men and women [present and past] to pray with
you and for you! Entrust them to lead you to the Master. Peter
