The brother of Patriarch John X, Metropolitan of Aleppo Paul, in April along with the Syro-Jacobite bishop of Aleppo John Ibrahim, was abducted by gunmen, and since then there has been no reliable news on their fate. Recently, the media reported the death of the bishops, however, the Patriarch of Antioch has not confirmed this information.
