In July 2013 the capitals of the three countries - Moscow, Kiev and Minsk - will celebrate the 1025th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus'. Also in the same month, it is appropriate to speak about another anniversary, the 25th anniversary of the revival of church life.
A quarter of a century ago - after a nationwide celebration of the 1000th anniversary of the Baptism of Russia in 1988 began the revival of church life in the Soviet Union -- often called the second Baptism of Rus.
Exhibitors in their photo works tell of the most memorable moments of the era. The exhibiti will feature both modern and archival photographs of the late 1980s - early 1990s. The exhibition will be open for visitors from June 25 to September 10, during the Metro's working hours. Admission is free.
