Church organizes a medical team for Madagascar

A group of doctors and staff of the Mission Center of the Metropolia of Constance of the Orthodox Church of Cyprus will provide assistance in the field of dentistry, pediatrics and general medicine for ten days in the north-east province of Madagascar.
The medical team provides services to people in remote villages in a specially deployed a mobile clinic. Doctors treat thousands of people regardless of race, nationality and religion. Most of those being treated had no previous access to skilled medical care, reports the agency Romfea. Physicians work with the blessing of and under the leadership of Metropolitan Ignatius of Madagascar (Patriarchate of Alexandria).
