offers $40,000 Scholarship to AmeriCorps/Peace Corps Alumni

Dear AmeriCorps/Peace Corps Alum,
Clark Universitys exciting Community Development and Planning (CDP) masters degree program, and the Department of International Development, Community and Environment (IDCE) offers AmeriCorps and Peace Corps Alumni a valuable scholarship opportunity.
At least one tuition-free scholarship is awarded to an AmeriCorps and Peace Corps alum accepted into IDCEs Community Development and Planning masters degree program. (Worth $40,000) IDCE also matches the education award of every AmeriCorps alumni who enrolls.
The CDP program offers core courses and hands-on skill development in:
community development and planning theory finance, nonprofit management,
Geographic Information Systems (GIS), grass-roots community organizing
The CDP program provides current and up-and-coming community development practitioners with a strong foundationbased on theory, skill development, and practiceto take on the challenges of urban neighborhood revitalization in the United States. Through course work, field work and internships, the CDP program enables students to better understand the complex linkages between local action and the processes of policymaking at local, state, and national levels.
