Hearts and Hammer Project, Saturday, Sept 17 at 7:30 AM
Please remember that the North Texas Peace Corps Association will be fixing up and painting a house of James and Janet Collins. at 3222 Spring Ave., Mapsco 46-U, in the Fair Park area.
Workday is Saturday Sept. 17 starting at 7:30 am.
To get there take Central Expwy/US 75 south through downtown to Interstate 30 east. Exit 2nd Ave., stay to right onto Robert B. Cullum Blvd. Follow it past Fair Park until it begins curving eastward, then make a right onto 2nd Ave., and a right shortly thereafter onto Spring. The house is near the end of the block. A map is in the newsletter.
We will be scraping, painting, replacing rotted siding, building a handrail, and making the house look great! We will be working again alongside high school kids from Jesuit and Ursuline High Schools.
As always bring brushes, ladders, gloves, empty plastic jugs, hearts, hammers, other tools, non-alcoholic drinks, hats, sunscreen, and lots of energy.
Any questions? Please call Gary Zimny at 214.-357-.8337 home, 214-649-3637 cell. See you there!
WE'd also like you to send an email to Ed Hromatka at hromatka@... so that we don't have to call you.
