Although not everyone in NTPCA may know Katrina, whom I met a year ago at the "anniversary house party" I hosted at my church in Fort Worth, I thought everyone might like to know what is happening with the Mali PCVs, who have been evacuated.

Hi Mike! Everyone is safe here in Burkina Faso, including the Mali PCVs who were evacuated here. Yes, I've tried both recipes. I prefer the okra stew more than the rice. But to avoid the extra steps and time,
please go with the rice recipe. Thanks a million! Katrina

I am concerned with what is happening in next door Mali.
I think I will cook the easy rice recipe rather than the okra stew/soup, which I don't think might not go over very well with Texas palates. Have you tried either recipe?
