Last August 2007 a group of RPCVs got together to form a "green team." With the help of a green action guide provided by RPCV Susan Silber, they have been meeting every couple of weeks to discuss environmental topics and audit themselves on issues such as energy, waste, water, transportation, chemicals, and more. Out of these meetings they have come up with a community project to "green" the bars of San Francisco. Please show your support by attending their kick-off event:
