I just submitted my portfolio this year, so I'm not an expert. My
approach was to just remove geographic indicators related to the
area where I teach (Kentucky)to avoid potential reviewer bias. For
example, I didn't discuss my school's specific location in the D&A
and on emails I included for documentation, I blacked out the parts
of my school email address that would identify the area. I did not
remove the locations of training or conferences if they were open to
teachers from all areas. For example, I spent two weeks at a
workshop at Boston College and I left in that reference since it
seemed relevant to documenting the accomplishment. Hope this is
helpful. Let me know if there's anything else I can do.
P.S. I was born and raised in Harrisonburg, VA. Are you teaching
