HELP CHIPPIANNOCK CEMETERY WIN NEW TREES!
Chippiannock Cemetery located in Rock Island, Illinois, suffered greatly from the destructive storm on July 21. At least 125 trees were destroyed, and the damage is estimated at about nearly $100,000, which is the cemetery's budget for an entire year.
But YOU can help! And with just a click! Local TV station WQAD and Modern Woodmen have teamed up to donate 125 full-size trees to a local, non-residential location. We, at TheCemeteryClub.com, encourage you to vote for Chippiannock Cemetery (please note that there is also a listing for Rock Island Cemetery, but Chippiannock Cemetery is the one to vote for). Click the link below and vote before the Friday, Aug. 1, deadline!
Established in 1855, Chippiannock has long been considered a Quad Cities Landmark and is the resting place of over 25,000 persons, including some of the Quad Cities most memorable individuals.
We at TheCemeteryClub.com encourage fellow taphophiles to make a donation to assist this cemetery. As we all know, cemeteries do not have a lot of funds. Chippiannock will need to purchase new equipment to remove these trees. To learn how you can donate, please visit the link below. Even just a couple dollars will help.
