Hello, everyone. My name is Mike Eidson, and I've been a GM of various
RPGs since 1975. I moved to Florida a couple of years ago and I'm new
to MegaCon, but a friend and I would like to run a two-session Tunnels
and Trolls tournament-style game if enough people are interested. If
we could get up to 12 players, we were thinking of simultaneously
running two tables of 6 players each. At the beginning of the second
session, the survivors from the first session would switch GMs, and
continue the adventure on the other side of the story. The last hour
of play in the second session would bring survivors from both tables
together for the finale.
The Tunnels and Trolls rules allow for PCs to be your typical humans,
elves, dwarves, etc., but PCs may also be goblins, urook (orcs),
ogres, trolls, giants, and many other kindred usually thought of as
monsters. We were thinking that for this game the PCs would be making
their livings as pirates, and this would easily lend itself to some or
all of the PCs being monstrous kindreds, if the players were up to that.
We were thinking the two later sessions on Saturday would be good for
this, though are open to suggestions as to when would be the best time
to run the two sessions.
We're hoping to have a copy of the 7th edition of the Tunnels and
Trolls rules in the tin box to give away as a prize.
Unless the idea above is immediately rejected, I will submit more info
in a few days. In the meantime, any feedback on the above ideas is
