Apologies for cross-posting
SLanguages 2010 is a 24-hour virtual conference on language teaching
and learning in Second Life. This will be the fourth time the
conference has been held and will provide educators with a snapshot of
the state of language education in this virtual world, as well as a
great chance to network with like-minded avatars.
As in previous years, SLanguages will run over the course of a
Friday-Saturday, this year from 10:00 SL time (5pm GMT), 15 October,
to 10:00 SL time (5pm GMT), 16 October.
The programme is still being finalised (there are some slots left if
anyone would like to present) and we also hope to repeat sessions to
enable people in different time zones to see them. As well as talks
and workshops, there will also be group discussions and social events
(including theatre) and the opportunity to visit an exhibition of SL
tools for educators.

Hope to see some of you there!
