The position requires technical skills and experience in supporting
manufacturing processes and methods, including process flow, layout,
assembly, and efficiency improvements. Ability to act as a resource
for both manufacturing and support areas with process improvement
techniques; including Lean Manufacturing events, ongoing process
improvements, documenting standard work, and cost analysis. Position
in all actions supports, LMI's Business Strategy, Quality Policy,
Mission Statement and other LMI policies and procedures by supporting
our commitment to total customer satisfaction, quality products and
services, lean processes, continuous improvement, on-time delivery,
safety, teaming, individual accountability and respect for people.
Job Requirement: (Education and/Or Experience)
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering,
At least 3-5 years experience as an Industrial Engineer within a
Experience leading Continuous Improvement events.
Experience performing analysis for cost reduction, quality
improvement and improved efficiencies.
Experience in project management.
Prefer experience improving processes through the use of Kaizen
Prefer experience with Demand Flow Technology.
Experience with industrial plant layout, work flow, time &
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office programs as well as,
drafting and flowcharting experience.
