Displaced Persons camps in Germany
Janie Micchelli sends these links on DP camps in post-war Germany. Because the Kresy were under Nazi occupation after 1941, many Polish citizens from there that were not previously deported to Siberia were taken to Nazi Germany to be slave labourers (Ostarbeiters) and ended up in the Displaced Persons camps, from where many emigrated to the West.
