I know that a number of "Souvenir" photo books were printed up on
that terrible self-destructing paper. I've seen a few for the 3CD
and my father had one for the 2nd Artillery Group.
I am not familiar with a 2 volume publication. By all means,
preserve it if you can.
Copyright is not a huge issue if you do not intend to profit from
the posting, although it is always good practice to acknowledge the
original source. Getting permission from the publisher is also a
good idea if you plan to post something in its entirety (as opposed
to excerpts) however if these volumes were produced by the
publishing arm of the Polish Army then copyright is not an issue.
