Thank you for this post. My Polish only picks up about 10% but don't let that put off for other members not fluent in Polish. If you know the history you can still follow the film and the original footage and recreated scenes are wonderful.
By the way... I have a question just out of curiosity. I have read "Army in Exile" and several books on Katyn.... but I am unclear as to why/how General Anders ended up in Lubianka Prison in Moscow and not in one of the 3 special POW camps and then with a bullet in his head like the other 15,000 or so officers?
