Please welcome Nusia to the group. Her father Aleksander Kapera (now 91) from Tarnopol was deported to Siberia and joined the Polish Army under General Anders. Nusia's mother Jozefa (Kasznia) Kapera 82 is also from Tarnopol and after deportation lost her family in Russia and Iran and the war years in an orphanage in Kenya. She then came to England where she met and married Aleksander. Nusia is looking for any relative of her mother. She thinks that there may be a cousin alive who was repatriated back to Poland from Russia. She is also trying to find information about her uncle, no longer alive, Czeslaw Kapera who was in a szkola techniczna in Egypt (Junak). Nusia just found out today from her mother that a Mr Eichel who taught mechanics of cars was in Egypt alsoand his wife was Nusia's Godmother.
Well Nusia, members have found other friends and relatives through this wonderful group and I hope the same for you.
