Please accept the fact that when in Belarus in small places one may not be able to simply walk into a church or Town Hall and ask to be able to see immediately any records. It is not as in the West.
All records are generally at some archive or another.
Even speaking Russian will not yield results.
Priests are very reluctant to give their telephone numbers or e-mails to visitors and particularly smaller churches have no administration offices, save for a priest's own residence.
So plan well ahead of your journey and establish contacts.
If you are using a guide then he or she perhaps can manage to establish a contact beforehand.
