Does anyone know Russian?
I have an old WWII Russian Red Army map which shows my mom's Taiga tiny Gulag/Piosolek.
A lot of places, including this one is preceded by Russian Letters
" cap. " . Which in English letters is " sar. "
But what is it short for (acronym ?), and what does it mean ?
Any help would be appreciated.
