Well, it's finally going to happen. The Victims of Communism Memorial
is going to be unveiled tomorrow morning in Washington DC. Victims of Communism Memorial
Foundation: Honor the Victims of Communism and Those Who Love Liberty.
I wish I could be there. It's a historical event that will help give us
some closure. Is anyone attending from the Group? Romuald
maybe? If so, please take some pictures and post them on our
gallery. My local newspaper is actually doing an article about it at my
suggestion with bits of my father's story added in. I can't wait to see it
and I'll send the online version to the Group tomorrow. I hope the
reporter does a good job. He asked for pictures and everything
and wanted the whole story. So I wrote a two-page essay about my father's
life and emailed it to him. I also included a link to our .org website so
maybe we'll get some new members or at least viewers. The reporter
told me he also called some contacts for the Memorial and spoke with them, so he
has a good background. Look for my post tomorrow with the link to the
article. I'm kind of excited.
