In my opinion, it is very poor that the Cross cannot be awarded
posthumously to descendants of the deceased. This is not done even
for those who died in Siberia.
It is highly doubtful that the information is available in other
languages since I don't think information about the Cross is included
on the Polish Embassy site in the USA. At least it wasn't the last
time I had a good look at the site.
Poland should have a specific department for these matters.
