Fourth Polish Festival at Bletchley Park
Sunday 14th July 2002
Gates open at 10 am
Entrance fee: adults £6.00, OAPs and youth 8-16 £5.00 children under
POLES IN GREAT BRITAIN Group Members attending are invited to meet
up at the POLAND COMES HOME Stall.
"Polish Daily" insert containing detailed program of events and a
plan of Bletchley Park available free on site. Coach organisers are
asked to pre register on 01908 631129 to ensure a parking space.
·Group tours at Bletchley Park attractions including the new World
War II Exhibition with English & Polish speaking guides
·Polish Folklore dancers
·Blessing of the monument commemorating the work of Polish
cryptologists: Marian Rejewski, Jerzy Rozycki and Henryk Zygalski.
·Open Air Holy Mass
·Exhibition of the odyssey of the Polish 2nd Corps including the
Battle of the Monte Cassino
·Exhibition of the Polish WW II uniforms, medals and combatants
·Exhibition - collage of WW II identity documents
·Muster of XVIII century lancers
·Projection of films and videos of special interest at two sites
·Stands of Polish organisations, institutions, books, handicraft and
·Stands with Polish cakes, breads and other Polish food stuffs
·Polish cuisine - hot and cold and Polish beer
·Show of military vehicles from WW II
·Fly past of WWII aeroplanes
·St. John's Ambulance Polish London Division in attendance
throughout the festival
Bletchley Park is situated in Milton Keynes, easily accessible by
road off the M1 and M40 motorways and Bletchley railway station is
only a 5 min. walk from the park.
