I am pleased to annouce that thanks to Mrs. Malwina Z. Schwieters (Auckland) generosity I was able to computerise a unique book which her father aquired during his service in Anders' Army and brought to New Zealand in his soldier's gear.
It is a very unique edition of Polish soldiers' songs composed and sang by the Anders' Polish Army published in 1944 in Jerusalem.
You will find in it Polish old patriotic songs and WWII songs composed in different places known to you from your own experience, like Buzuluk, Dzalal-Abad, Szachriziabs, Kirkuk, Kanakin, Quzil-Ribat, and also camps in Palestine, Egypt and England.
All songs are in Polish with music scores.
You may read the book (102 pages) "W marszu; Zbior piesni zolnierskich, Spiewnik dla zolnierza polskiego Armii Polskiej na Wschodzie"; (z nutami), Jerozolima, 1944) at: http://www.antoranz.net/BIBLIOTEKA/WMARSZU/W-marszu.htm
and/or download individual pages in jpg format.
You may also find a few other relevant publication at: http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~antora/BIBLIOT/BIBLIOT.HTM
with kind regards-
prof. Dr Roman Antoszewski
