Thanks for the help. I'll have to remember that you read Russian. :)
If it's Russian Purges of the 1930's and "Politically repressed" then it
does not sound like it would list the average Polish civilian farmers which
were deported in Feb 1940, etc..
This must be a list of people that were "arrested" and put into Gulags
(prisons), as opposed to people that were simply deported to slave labor
camps. Since none of my couple of dozens of relatives are not on this
Any thoughts on this ?
My mother's fiancée was arrested early in Sept 1939, but he was not sent to
Molotovskaja Oblast. He was sent to Saratov so he would not be on this list.
Anyone else had someone sent to this Oblast?
I agree with you, it would be an astronomical job to translate it and post
it. It would be easier to teach everyone to read Russian probably. :)

the title of the list in Russian means (excuse me Sergiusz!) Book of
memory of political repression in Permski Oblast -- the years of terror.
So it covers the 1930's purges in the Soviet Union, as well as Poles
and others who were "politically repressed". I don't know how
complete the lists are, but opening the archives and putting it all on
line is a long job.
