Stalin denied this saying that it was impossible because all Poles had been released. Anders submitted figures disproving that and pointed out to him that first the Jews were released from the camps, next the Ukrainians and then those Poles not fit enough to be of value as workers. After much arguing and questioning about the missing officers, the subject of moving the army to the south arose. Sikorski and Stalin also argued about the men who had been recruited into the Red Army in�39 that were not being released.
