Like I think has been mentioned, some people went straight to
Kazakhstan when deported - others travelled through following their
release from camps further north, as did my own family..
The folllowing excerpt from a document I picked up a while back,
based on Home Army intelligence at the time mentions Kazakhstan and
might give you some clues...
"...The second wave of deportation: At night, 13-14 April 1940.
About 300.000 people mainly Women and children. Destination:
Kazachstan, Achciubinsk, Kustanaj, Petropawlosk, Semipalatinsk....."

I found an old map of Lwow when I was sorting out one of my uncles things.
That's what prompted me to ask her to write some things down about her experiences. But all I found out was the name of the road they lived on.

Thanks for your reply.
Unfoutunately those relatives are longer alive.
The last time I asked my mother about those times all I got was the name of the road they lived on in Lwow. She was very reluctant to talk or write anything down.
I had already looked on the Karta web side and the 10 you mentioned are not the relatives that I know about.
