I was with you in spirit, although in body I was at the LA Times Festival of Books. I'm looking forward to hearing the recording.Very best,RenaOn Mon, Apr 23, 2012 at 4:09 PM, awcassel <acassel@...> wrote:
I want to thank everyone who came to our Keidan Memorial yesterday in Manhattan. Despite the weather and despite the postponement from our original date last August, we had a full house, with more than two dozen in attendance by my count. It was gratifying to see everyone, and wonderful to make the acquaintance of Keidaners and others from as far away as Schennectedy, NY, and Washington, D.C.
I think it's safe to say that we made some excellent connections, and I hope others were as impressed as I was with the talks by Myra Sklarew and Ellen Cassedy. Both were rich with insight and appreciation for our shared heritage. I hope we all keep in touch, and that it helps us keep alive Keidan's memory for future generations.
I made an audio recording of the session, which I hope to put on line shortly. I encourage anyone with questions or a desire to pursue some of the issues that were touched on in our meeting to use this forum; it's an excellent way of keeping in touch. Thanks again for coming, and my sincere best wishes to all.
