Apparently, he entered rehab after last season. The Rangers knew
this going into the season and it was mentioned by Messier and Low
that it was common knowledge in the lockeroom.
I do not know what substance and I am sure all of this will come
out in time. What is telling is that the Rangers were trying to trade
him and that Sather acted like he knew nothing while the players
knew. Why would Phoenix trade their best players for someone this old
making his salary when the idea was to make a trade and subtract
salary....Makes no sense.
