THe Bruins game was my first chance to actually see the Isles skate. I was
impressed early and then dismayed until the overtime period. I loved being
able to see Nilsson play, that kid can really fly and seems to be willing to
skate into traffic to make a play.
I was dissappointed to see that Trent Hunter was more of a perimeter player
and only set up one good scoring chance. I thought the first line with
Satan was pretty solid and it was nice to see some great scoring chances and
end to end play.
Thankfully, Bates was there to bail us out and never stopped skating, unlike
Yashin on a similiar break away earlier in the game. I'll take the two
points and wait a week and a half, until the Isles play the Bruins again, to
see them on tv again.
