> Sergei Anshakov is a good prospect. In the 2002 Hockey News Draft
Preview he was ranked #30. #31 btw was Sean Bergenheim. RedLine
Report had Anshakov #18, I personally ranked him 14th. Then again I
had Jiri Hudler 6th, RedLine Report had Hudler #8 but they ranked
Bergenheim 44th. Jonas Johanson who was just involved in the Colorado-
Konawalchuk trade was ranked #22 by The Hockey News, #54 by RLR and I
had Johansson #17. Just a little history>>
I'm shocked the Kings picked up this contract. Even Sather would
not take that kind of money back a year ago when he needed a left
wing and went out and signed five of them over the summer.
I thought the Kings had salary problems? Just a very poor move by
Los Angeles when teams are supposed to be counting pennies.
Straka get's five million next year. The fact Pittsburgh got
anything of value back in this kind of dump says it all about Craig
Patrick. And says less about you know who.
Who do you think had to dump a contract more, Patrick or Milbury?
Who got something that can help at some point?
Who had the most value considering the markets and the contracts?
All I know is teams were lining up for Wiemer when he was put on
waivers, no one would take Straka's contract last year.
Pittsburgh get's rid of salary and some players, Kings add a player
and pay. MM get's ?
Charles Wang, you watching?
